Good morning,

 

Your refund checks were mailed two days ago and we are working on a date to collect the raffle tickets, collect equipment, uniform hand-out and raffle drawing. The date will likely be in June.

 

The raffle tickets, partial rental fee, and uniforms/ uniform items/ decals are non-refundable.

Good morning Lincoln-Way Lacrosse families,

Hope everyone is safe and doing well! Unfortunately the 2020 Spring Youth Lacrosse season has been officially cancelled.

Official Statement: 2020 IBLA Season Canceled Due to COVID-19

For Immediate Release: Monday, April 13, 2020 @ 5:00 PM CST

LOMBARD, ILL. --- After careful consideration regarding the safety of participants, and based on the guidance of public health authorities related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Illinois Boys Lacrosse Association (IBLA) has canceled its 2020 season. While we are saddened by this turn of events, this decision - agreed upon by IBLA League Staff and the Executive Board - was not made lightly. These unprecedented circumstances are not something any of us could have foreseen, but we will move forward together and await a healthy and competitive 2021 IBLA season. 

I would have sent notice sooner, however I was told that an official email from the league needed to be sent out first and I still haven't received any league emails regarding the cancellation.

 

Below are the next steps:

Raffle Tickets/ Uniforms/ Rental Equipment

  • Date is TBD, we will only host a few hours on the same one day for raffle ticket drop off, uniform hand-out and equipment return. Please be aware that we will not host multiple days and the date will likely be late into May or June depending on any additional government restrictions

  • Raffle ticket drop-off is TBD (we will collect equipment & hand-out uniforms the same day)

  • Raffle ticket drawing is TBD

  • Raffle Prize pick-up is TBD

  • Uniform hand-out is TBD (we will collect equipment & raffle tickets the same day)

  • Rental Equipment return is TBD (we will hand-out uniforms & collect raffle tickets same day)

Refunds 

  • Raffle tickets are non-refundable

  • Uniforms, decals, additional uniform items are non-refundable

  • Rental Equipment - $50 of the $75 fee will be refunded *We will cash the $200 equipment deposit check if the equipment is not returned

  • Base fee including Volunteer deposit (less sibling or new player discounts) will be refunded *Refund amounts vary by player and there isn't a universal dollar amount

  • Our contracted accountant will be provided the list of player names and addresses as listed on your player's registration and the refund amount today and a refund check will be mailed out the first week of May. *Note- if the Stay at Home doesn't get extended past April 30th we may decide not to mail the checks and hand them out the same day we host Raffle drop-off/ Uniform hand-out/ Equipment return.

Please know that Lincoln-Way Lacrosse Club (LWLC) is not hosting or planning any summer, fall or winter programs at this time and if a parent or coach approaches you about a "play date" you will be participating at your own risk. LWLC does not have any practice or game fields reserved. No one is authorized to rent any outdoor or indoor fields using or referring to LWLC without the consent of our Executive Board, proper insurance and waivers, and fees paid for such rental/ event.
