Games and Tournaments

There will be 8 regular season IBLA games between early April and June 2. Playoffs will be held on June 6 & 7.  The regular game schedule dates will be available by late March.    Our teams will also play in the following 3 tournaments this season
See details below.
  • LAX 500 on April 25 (Sat.) at Chicagoland Speedway (Joliet, IL) – hosted by LWLC (request for volunteers will be sent
  • Rip the Duck on May 2 (Sat.) & May 3 (Sun.) at the Jr. Irish Soccer Fields at 5200 Nimtz Pkwy in South Bend, IN (EST - one hour ahead).  Due to low enrollment, there will no longer be a mini (K-2) division at this tournament.  If you are interested in your player playing up in with the 3rd/4th grade team at this tournament, please contact youthdirector@lincolnwaylacrosse.com asap.  There will not be any mini regular season games scheduled that weekend given the large number of mini players with older sibling players that will be playing at Rip the Duck.  Hotel block information was emailed to everyone over the last few weeks.  If interested in booking a room through the blocks at one of the three hotels, deadline is March 1.  Some mini families may decide to cancel their hotel reservations given the latest tournament changes.
  • Border Wars on May 9 & May 10 (Sun.) at the Stuart Sports Complex at 39W585 Jericho Rd in Montgomery, IL.  Mini (K-2) players will only play on May 9.
Uniforms
If you registered and requested new or replacement uniforms before late January, you should receive your player's uniform in mid March.  Our second order for uniforms ordered after late January will be ordered this week and will arrive in 5 weeks according to our uniform vendor.

Raffle Tickets Reminder
Raffle tickets were distributed on February 23.  If you could not pick up your raffle tickets on February 23, they will be also available for pickup on March 1 during player evaluations between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm.  Raffle tickets will be collected on March 22 at Hallmark Sport Club and winners will be determined at the April Board meeting.

Good morning LWLC families,

We are excited about the 2020 spring lacrosse season starting up!

We will play in the following 3 tournaments this year for our youth teams:

  • LAX 500 on 4/25/20 (Saturday) at Chicagoland Speedway (Joliet, IL) – hosted by LWLC
  • Rip the Duck on 5/2/20 (Saturday) & 5/3/20 (Sunday) at the Jr. Irish Soccer Fields at 5200 Nimtz Pkwy in South Bend, IN (EST - one hour ahead) PLEASE SEE IMPORTANT HOTEL INFO BELOW.  Due to low enrollment at the tournament, US Lax announced there will no longer be a mini (K-2) division at this tournament.
  • Border Wars on 5/9/20 (Saturday) & 5/10/20 (Sunday) at the Stuart Sports Complex at 39W585 Jericho Rd in Montgomery, IL

The Rip the Duck tournament has been pushed to May given past weather conditions. Given the distance and time difference, many families choose to stay at a hotel on Friday night and Saturday night for the tournament. You are certainly not required to stay at a hotel. For your convenience, we have reserved blocks with the booking agent, Travel USA, as required by US LAX at the following 3 hotels for the Rip the Duck tournament. Each hotel offers breakfast and has an indoor pool.

Important note from booking agent: Please do not to call the hotel directly to book, make changes, or cancel your reservation. Hotel agents will not be able to assist your group members.

Deadline to book your hotel room under these following blocks (reserve using website links below) is 3/1/20.  ONLY 1 WEEK AWAY TO BOOK UNDER THESE ROOM BLOCKS!!

Any questions, please contact Catherine Kannenberg (cquinn08@yahoo.com).
